Join the Honors Program in its ongoing commitment to showcasing undergraduate art, creative writing, and scholarly work! The Honors Journal was established and first published in 1992 to promote outstanding undergraduate writing, creative work, and research.
This interdisciplinary student-run publication is sponsored by the College of Arts & Sciences Honors Program and is open to all CU undergraduates. Read the Honors Journal online: issues from 2010-2022 and issues from 2023-2025.

The cost of publication has risen significantly since the publication’s founding. Donations will pay to print physical copies of the journal.
Any amount is appreciated! $35 pays to print one journal.

We hold a Release Event for the journal in April each year. Sage Jordan is the artist whose work was featured on the cover of the 2025 journal.

After decades as a CU student group, the journal is now coordinated through an Honors Writing class. The workshop-style class allows hands-on experience evaluating writing and art across genres and forms. Students learn what makes good writing across disciplines and write their own work in their genre of choice.
A sneak peek behind the scenes of the 2026 journal:

The class takes a field trip each year to the print shop in Boulder that prints our journals.

Throwback to 2013!
Donated funds are tax-deductible (CU will send you a receipt). We appreciate your support!

THANK YOU!
