The Polar Science Early Career Community Office (PSECCO) supports Arctic and Antarctic scientists who are early in their careers through community-building, professional development and capacity-building. The funding for this community office currently runs out in the middle of the spring, but with your support we can extend community office functions through the end of spring 2026!
Wow! Since relaunching this campaign, we’ve made real progress toward our goal of raising $10,000 to support the Polar Science Early Career Community Office, and we’re already more than 30% of the way there.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed or shared the campaign with friends, colleagues, and networks. Your support is helping build real momentum and shows how much this space matters to the community.
We’re grateful to have you involved and excited to keep moving toward the goal together. Sharing the campaign with one friend or colleague can make a huge difference as we work toward the next milestone.

Over the past few months, we’ve shared this campaign internally with our early career community and externally at the 2025 AGU Meeting. Now, with the (re)launch of the campaign running through May 2026, we’re excited to share it more broadly with the wider polar and science community.
Thanks to a recent no‑cost extension (a small but mighty win!), we’re able to keep PSECCO running at a partial level through the end of the summer. But to sustain this work through the full 2025–2026 academic year, we still need your support.
If there’s anyone in your network who might be willing and able to contribute to PSECCO’s fundraising campaign, we’d be so grateful if you shared it with them. Every forward, repost, or personal note helps widen the circle of people who care about strengthening the polar early career community.
Thank you for supporting PSECCO and the vibrant community of early career polar researchers we serve.
