College of Arts and Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences provides a well-rounded liberal arts education for its undergraduates, as well as cutting-edge graduate education and scholarship. Comprising more than 60 departments and programs, the College of Arts and Sciences is the most interdisciplinary college on CU Boulder’s campus. Housing subjects from dance to astrophysical and planetary sciences, it is the intellectual core of the university. The college works to solve some of the world’s most pressing problems, teaching students critical thinking skills that can position them to successfully create meaningful change and positive impact in our rapidly changing world.
