At the University of Colorado, we spend over $13 million annually on student-athlete scholarships, a crucial investment as the cost of education continues to rise and a degree becomes even more vital for the success of current and future Buffs. Scholarship support is essential to providing a world-class, holistic student-athlete experience by easing the financial burdens and allowing Colorado student-athletes to focus on both their academic and athletic pursuits. The holistic student-athlete experience costs approximately $100,000 per year, with educational expenses including tuition, books and fees accounting for about $45,000. The Golden Buffalo Scholarship Fund provides support needed so our athletes can pursue both academic and athletic excellence.
