Support university-based economic research and community economic education through the Business Research Division Fund, which provides support for student research assistants, community outreach, and applied research about business and the economy at the Leeds School of Business.
Established in 1916, the Leeds Business Research Division provides economic impact studies and customized research projects that assist companies, associations, nonprofits and government agencies with making sound business and policy decisions.
The center is known statewide for its annual production of the Colorado Business Economic Outlook, which provides a forecast of the state’s economy by sector. From publication downloads to presentations to more than 50 communities across the state each year, critical economic analysis reaches thousands of individuals each year. Among many other research reports, surveys and studies, the center also publishes a quarterly Leeds Business Confidence Index, which gauges Colorado business leaders’ opinions about the economy.
