Since its founding, the Benson Center has received philanthropic support from more than 275 donors who share a passion for fostering research, debate, and dialogue on the fundamental issues of our time. Your generosity provides financial support for faculty, including the Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy. Faculty engage students, provide mentorship, and develop curriculum to challenge and educate students. Gifts allow faculty to contribute to the reputation and vibrancy of the Benson Center through scholarship, undergraduate and graduate teaching, and community engagement.
Gifts to the Benson Center provide support for students across campus, including financial assistance, mentorship opportunities, and access to seminars and discussions that expand learning beyond the classroom. These opportunities enable students across various majors and backgrounds to engage deeply with foundational ideas while building confidence as thinkers and leaders. Since the inception of the Benson Undergraduate Fellows (BUF) program in 2023, the Benson Center has provided $280,000 to over 100 students across the CU Boulder campus.
