Last year’s focus was on supporting the department’s LearnChemE initiative. Donor funding enabled the department to maintain the website and introduce new types of content, aiding students at CU Boulder and globally in mastering challenging chemical and biological engineering concepts. The site significantly contributes to our department’s recognition as a leader in education. New LearnChemE initiatives seeded by donor support led to a recently announced NSF grant award, which will further expand the site to include the creation of a multitude of virtual experiments.

Contributing to the ChBE fund directly fuels the success of students, staff and faculty in the department and ensures that the ChBE department remains at the forefront of engineering excellence.
