Scholarships provided through the Presidents Leadership Class current-use fund have provided financial assistance to PLC students as they serve their community. Through tutoring facilitated by the CU Science Discovery's Stem Mentors program, a PLC service cohort went beyond the program service requirement and explored servant-leadership with first-hand experience. “It was so rewarding to see the students apply the skills that they learned in our sessions,” reported Scott Seibel, a PLC student majoring in education and seeking teaching licensure upon graduation. Seibel is an RA on campus to aid in affording his CU education. Other assistance like the service cohort scholarship from the Presidents Leadership Class Fund further help him and his PLC peers work directly on their personal and leadership development in the time they spend at the University of Colorado Boulder.
