Starting in the Fall semester of 2021, Disability Services has offered Academic Coaching to students registered for accommodations. Through the support of Peer Academic Coaches, students are able to develop academic skills such as organization, time management, and effective study habits, building greater confidence in the classroom.

In the Fall of 2021, our program supported eight students for a total of 31 coaching sessions. During the Fall 2025 semester, our program supported 34 students through 177 individual coaching sessions.

As one student shared, “I can confidently say my academics have been completely transformed for the better,” while another added, “I feel very grateful to be able to have this program and am happy I was able to both get the help I needed and connect with someone at CU.”
