The Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology (IQ Biology) PhD program at CU Boulder’s BioFrontiers Institute unites more than 16 departments to train students to do research that integrates STEM disciplines: biology, math, computer science, physics, and engineering. We train and empower students to pursue bold, collaborative research from the start. As a unique traineeship sitting at the intersection of many graduate programs, IQ Biology is not supported directly by tuition dollars. Philanthropic support is an essential component to this approach, and continued gifts allow BioFrontiers to expand opportunities, welcome more exceptional students, and fuel discoveries that push the boundaries of science.
